Yes – Most of our products are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of at least one year from the date of shipment. Products which prove to be defective during this period will be either repaired or replaced, at the option of Whitfield Lighting provided the item is returned to us, freight prepaid under the terms stated for return of products, and the item had not been misused or abused. Claims for indirect or consequential damages or for product which in our opinion has been misused, will not be allowed. This is a warranty of product reliability only and not a warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Whitfield Lighting shall have no liability whatsoever in any event for payment or incidental or consequential damages, including, without limitations, installation costs and damages for personal injury and property. These products may represent a possible shock or fire hazard when improperly installed or altered in any way. This warranty does not apply to any product which has been improperly installed in accordance with current local codes and/or the National Electrical Code.

Each authorized Whitfield Lighting dealer is independently owned and operated. Each store sets their own policies regarding returns and exchanges. Please contact the store where you purchased your lighting products.

If an order is received before 2:00 PM Mountain Standard Time, the order will ship the same day. If an order is received after 2:00 PM Mountain Standard Time or on a weekend or non-working holiday, the order will ship the next business day.

Delivery is contingent upon strikes, fires, accidents, delays of carrier, or other delays beyond our control. The retention of goods by the Buyer or for the benefit of the Buyer without written objection for more than five days after delivery, shall constitute an unconditional and absolute acceptance by the Buyer. Errors in billing and shipping must be reported within five business days from receipt of the shipment. Return of goods will not be accepted without prior written authorization from American Lighting, Inc. Upon inspection of undamaged goods, the Buyer will be held responsible for the freight charges both ways. A 20% re-stocking charge will also be incurred by the Buyer.
